British cult hero Bill Fay will release 'Who Is The Sender?' the follow up to his enormous record 'Life Is People' on Dead Oceans via Inertia.
After a string of releases in the early 70s, Bill Fay was dropped from his label, and doomed to obscurity. But he was unearthed in the 90s, and given the appreciation he deserved, which lead to Bill Fay's first studio album in 41 years, 2012's 'Life Is People'.
Fay looks to build upon the critical and public adoration received by his previous album, with this new, equally raw record. The first taste comes in "War Machine," which Stereogum describes as a "...stately lament about the capitalistic militarization of our modern world...this song would've been just as apt 40+ years ago as it is now."
Considering the way the world has stopped over Bill Fay's previous recordings, it's fair to say that anticipation surrounding the announcement of 'Who Is The Sender?' is reaching paramount heights.
