Spearheaded by the future-bound, percussive powers of the DF original - this exhilarating and visceral slab of locomotive break-beat is set to tower above and envelop many an underground floor in its wake. Leading the B Side-remix charge meanwhile, we have the utterly singular, evergreen genius of DMX Krew; who - after allowing us to bask momentarily, in a warm and gentle sonic space - quickly pulls the directional rug from under us, and U-turns with an incisive, snarl-loaded Electro-Funk attack.
That is, before - Toronto's bold and fearless rising star, Ciel - closes up proceedings with a wickedly contrasting interpretation, loaded with poise and suspense. But it's the restraint and precision she exercises when wielding these ingredients - that truly makes her 'Pleasure Point' remix such a cunningly smart and quietly powerful piece of dance-floor weaponry.
