For over two decades, Irish post-rock masters GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT have enthralled listeners from all over the world with their unique sonic universe. Following a constantly busy touring schedule and their much-acclaimed 2022 live release, The Beginning Of The End - a stunning anniversary album showcasing the evolutionary changes throughout the band's years since their memorable debut The End Of The Beginning in 2002 - the Wicklow-based trio returns with a freshly-conjured, new studio offering on September 6, 2024 via Napalm Records!

Embers marks the band's eleventh studio album, and from its first tone to the last, immediately proves why GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT are masters of their craft. The band, founded by brothers Torsten und Niels Kinsella, has created yet another exceptional masterpiece of art designed to allow listeners to form their own interpretations. Yet, songs such as the first official single "Falling Leaves" drive the listener into soothing harmony and peace - amid quiet moments, the track bursts into a sonic magnum opus! The progressive up-tempo album title track, with its haunting, synth-laden and often menacing shredding passages, still manages to balance the light and the dark, while tracks such as the simply epic "Odyssey" provide an exhilarating ride blending all facets of the band's incredible songwriting skills.
