In October 2022, Headswim reformed for a one off show in Camden to mark the launch of their freshly reissued cult classic debut album, Flood. The reformation and reissue is one of the heroic stories of the internet. Stories that are all too rare in these times. Through the power of a hardcore, (still) hungry fanbase the band were coaxed out of retirement, into the rehearsal studio and into The Underworld to perform the album in its entirety to aforementioned hungry fans. The ex-Sony label mites, Headswim teamed up with indie upstarts Trapped Animal to reissue Flood to sate the clamours of their fanbase. The album has been lovingly mixed by the band's original live engineer, Andy Shillito - and the results are something else. The band played Flood through in order start to finish, with extended sections to fav bangers Dead and Stinkhorn, unique and never to be repeated. The encore includes an earth shattering performance of the bands top 20 hit Tourniquet.
