David and Nathan Zellner's feature may be devoid of (human) dialogue, but it is packed with gorgeously photographed vistas, lush forest and rivers - all underscored beautifully by long-time collaborators The Octopus Project. The film captures beauty and cruel realities of nature colliding in haunting and occasionally psychedelic ways. And thanks to the lush, poetic and inventive soundscape presented on this album, the film remains an unparalleled and unique artistic vision. We're so excited to continue our collaboration with the Zellner brothers - this is the fourth feature of theirs we've worked on and each has been a journey into a totally unique world, perhaps Sasquatch Sunset most of all. says The Octopus Project A film without human dialogue leaves a lot of space for score in the storytelling, and it was a real treat to use that space to explore these character's minds through music. We tried to bring the same balance of pastoral naturalism and insane psychedelia to the score that the Zellners brought to the images and are so thrilled with the way it turned out. This limited edition physical edition features a lenticular cover, gatefold jacket, printed inner-sleeve, and is pressed on 140gm color vinyl.
